JAMB Candidates Protest in Lagos And Ilorin

It was learnt that some candidates who are displeased with the conduct of the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board, JAMB, took to the streets of Lagos and Ilorin yesterday to protest.

It was gathered that the protesters were carrying placards with different inscriptions and were demanding the resignation of the JAMB Registrar, Prof Dibu Ojerinde.
The protesters blamed the leadership of JAMB for their failures, adding that the electronic devices used for the examination malfunctioned.
However, when contacted over the development, the board’s Head of Media, Dr. Fabian Benjamin accused proprietors of private schools, whose facilities were not used for the examination of being behind the protest.
