Monkeys Steal Money? Then The Animals Must Know How To Speak ; The Governor Now Rears Snakes

It is disgraceful and shameful. Simultaneous degradation of our country Nigeria. The news spread worldwide as fast as a burning bush. Who will clear our name?

Now people will laugh and win bets that corruption is really the bedrock of this country.

Welcome to Nigeria where a Mininister of high-standing will clearly state that about 76million naira was stolen by a lone monkey by God-knows-how-and-where.

Also a Governor would carter away millions and give a silly excuse that he wants to use the money to buy snakes, so that their skins will be used to produce leather for the state. And now, he rears snakes.

This was the same Governor who bought wheelbarrows empower the youths of Benue state. Coincidence?

Let's not forget that the taxes we pay are used to feed these illiterate leaders. And we applaud them when they misbehave. Who are we kidding?

Now, Democracy isn't ruled by the people anymore. This isn't Democracy! This is bondage!

When a friend first told me of the Governer that bought snakes to rear, i began to think of a country that sells snakes!

Is this what our taxes are used for? To take us on a merry-go-round and leave our heads spinning like a ball with no brain to ponder the meaning of their words of deciet, callousness, non-chalant attitude and impish facade?

Where do the monkeys take their money to? Madagascar? The Persian Gulf? Elegushi beach? To enjoy the beach and hear the lapping of salty water upon the seashore and lie out in the sun for a tan and drink Hennesay like a proper human? Surely, these animals should know how to speak then.

Take a stand! That's the ovation. This has gone too far and unless we do something about it, we are doomed.

I said, we are doomed!

Toure to stay at Manchester City, says agent

Yaya Toure’s agent performed a U-turn on Monday by declaring that the Ivory Coast midfielder would remain at Manchester City for next season. Dimitri Seluk had previously claimed that Toure, 32, was “90 percent certain” to leave the Etihad Stadium amid reports of interest from Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain. But in an interview with Sky Sports News, Seluk said that Toure would stay at City after the club informed him that he was “too important to let go”. Toure, whose contract expires in 2017, joined City from Barcelona in 2010 and has helped the previously success-starved club to two Premier League titles, the League Cup and the FA Cup. A four-time African Footballer of the Year, he scored 20 goals as City surged to the league title in 2014, but endured a mixed campaign this season as Manuel Pellegrini’s charges finished runners-up behind Chelsea. Toure, who reportedly earns £220,000 ($340,310, 310,120 euros) per week, refused to answer questions about his future at the...
