There is confusion at Oke Baale area of Osogbo, the Osun State capital, as some policemen allegedly opened fire on some students of the Osun State University while playing football on Saturday morning. Our correspondent gathered that that two students were hit by the bullets. Eight (8) persons have lost their lives in an explosion which occurred from the Chlorine Cylinder of the Plateau State Water Board Treatment plant located at Dogon Karfe, Jos-South Local Government Area of the state capital. Confirming the incident to newsmen in Jos, on Saturday, Governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong, described the ugly incident as unfortunate.
