JAMB Shuns Senate's Recommendation To Make UTME Results Valid For 3 Years

The Joint Admission And Matriculation Board (JAMB) has rejected the recommendation by the senate that UTME Results should be valid for 3 years.
This was made know by the Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Dibu Ojerinde, Abuja during the opening ceremony of JAMB-UNEB Benchmark on Item Banking.

According to him, such recommendation will only distort and delay the future of students across the country.
He further stated that there are certain things to consider before demanding that UTME Results be valid for 3 years.
On the issue of allowing Cyber Cafes as registration centres, the JAMB Boss stated that Cyber Cafes can not be allowed as registration centres because they will mess up the process, thereby creating problems for JAMB.
