As Ash Wednesday Clashes With Valentine's Day Tomorrow, Would You Still Celebrate It?

Okay Ladies and Gents, we all know tomorrow is Valentines Day, also called Lovers day, but do we also know that it also marks the beginning of Lent?
Lent is a time where we forget the delicious things in life and focus on fasting, praying, giving alms to the poor, going for stations of the cross and going for confession of our sins, to prepare us for Easter.
We can relate Lent to the reaction of the people of Ninevah when God threatened to destroy them if they do not repent of their sins. What did they do? Put on sackcloth and poured ashes on their heads. That's why we celebrate Ash Wednesday to kickstart the season of Lent.
But what about our Lover's Day? It totally contrasts with the beginning of Lent. Yes, because i know that many people will take advantage of it and go deeper than just showing love. So, should we forget the Lover's Day and embrace our sufferings? Or what?
