Wike said Amaechi took $150m from the state coffers to bank roll major election campaigns of the APC, Punch reports

Punch reports that Wike said Amaechi took $150m from the state coffers to bank roll major election campaigns of the APC.

Wike said this at a thanksgiving service organised to praise God for the Supreme Court judgement upholding his election, at Saint Peter’s Anglican Church in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area.
The #RiversState Governor, also warned that anyone caught rigging elections in the state would be treated like an armed robber.
Following the Governor’s comments, the All Progressives Congress (#APC) in Rivers, said Wike is turning into a dictator.
The Peoples Democratic Party (#PDP) in the state has since dismissed comments by those criticising the Supreme Court judgement that upheld his election, saying there’s nothing wrong with the apex court’s confirmation.
