To download from YouTube just play the video and you'll be shown a VIEW IN OFFLINE Mode button.
That's the download button. Use it.
As for other sites, I don't see the difficult thing there either.

OMG! Woman jailed for trying to smuggle heroin in underwear

An Australian woman of Vietnamese origin was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Tuesday for trying to smuggle heroin in her underwear, state media reported.
