D’banj announces return of ‘Koko Concert’, to hold in 5 cities

Popular Nigerian entertainer D’banj has announced he will be having his famous Koko Concert this year after a 2 year hiatus.
It could be recalled that the singer suffered serious backlash on social media after the 2012 edition came to an end, because fans had to trek a long distance to and fro the venue – Eko Atlantic City.

D’banj while speaking with HipTV disclosed that 2015 edition of the Koko Concert will hold in 5 cities – Abuja, Benin, Port Harcourt, Owerri and Lagos.
Though venues have not been announced, the event which is slated to hold between the 5th and 29th of December promises to feature foreign acts just like the previous edition which had Big Sean, Pusha T, Tinie Tempah and Idris Elba in attendance.
