Boko Haram blamed for killing 13 in Cameroon

Radical Islamist group Boko Haram is suspected of being behind the killing of 13 people in two attacks in northern Cameroon, a military source said on Sunday.

Two female suicide bombers blew themselves up Saturday near a military post in Dabanga close to the Nigerian border, killing eight people, including themselves, and injuring more than 12, said Joseph Nouma, commander of an anti-terrorism unit.
In Goudouzou, also near the border, five people were killed and houses set alight by armed attackers, Nouma said.
At least 100 people have been killed in suicide attacks in Cameroon’s Far North region since July. Boko Haram, which is based in Nigeria, has been blamed for all the attacks.
