TalkTalk: Northern schoolboy arrested by Scotland Yard over cyber attack

Scotland Yard detectives have swooped to arrest a Northern Ireland schoolboy in connection with a huge cyber attack.
The 15-year-old boy, who can not be identified, was arrested at his home in Co Antrim yesterday evening.

Police confirmed that he was detained on suspicion of offences under the Computer Misuse Act following a cyber attack on the computer systems of UK telecoms firm TalkTalk.
He was last night in custody at a police station in Co Antrim, where he was due to be interviewed about the allegations.
Scotland Yard said that a search of the boy's home was being carried out by PSNI officers.
An attack on TalkTalk computers sparked fears that the credit card details and addresses of the broadband provider's four million customers could have been stolen.
The company said it did not know how much of its customer information had been encrypted in the third cyber attack to affect the company in the last 12 months.
