Ogun Police Parade Armed Robbery Suspects

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested and paraded five armed robbery suspects terrorizing residents of Ado Odo and Ota Local Government Area of the state.

Among the suspects was a night guard employed to provide security in one of the communities in the area.
Parading the suspects at the state headquarters of the Special Anti-robbery Squad in Abeokuta, the state capital, the Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, said that the men had been linked to many armed robbery operations around the state.
Items recovered from them include guns, bullets, charms, different types of phones and a Toyota Highlander SUV which the Police said had been returned to its owner after a Proof of Ownership was presented.
While assuring residents of the state of adequate security, the Ogun Police Command challenged them to always give useful information to the Police on suspicious movement around their areas for effective policing.
