Sad! UNILAG Student Electrocuted, students protest



A part three Accounting student of the University of Lagos Oluchi Anekwe was electrocuted on Tuesday Night when a high tension cable fell on her. She died instantly.
The incident occurred in front of the New Hall student hostel as Anekwe was strolling into her room after the day academic activity.

The situation had sent panic into the university community as students went on rampage to protest against the insensitivity of the university management, which they described as being irresponsive.
However, policemen from Bariga and Sabo Divisions have been positioned in front of the university gate while
the University of Lagos Student Union, ULSU, has declared no activities in the school throughout Wednesday in honour of the late student.
