German Man Gives Birth to Baby Boy In The UK: Triumphloaded Blog

A Berlin man has become the first in Germany to give birth to a baby.
He identifies as male, but has a female reproductive system.
The baby boy was born on september 13th this year in a home birth, as hospitals are required to write the name of the mother in their records when a child is born.

It was delivered with the help of a midwife in the Neukölln area of Berlin.
On government records the new father, who is transgender, is registered as a man.
This makes him the first male in Germany to give birth, Berlin newspapers reported on Monday.
He reportedly became pregnant through a sperm donation.
Officially the child does not have a mother, only a father.
The case is reminiscent of transgender Thomas Beatie who has givenbirth to threechildren in the US.
Transgender people are able to give birth to children because even when a woman undergoes hormone therapy to become more physically masculine, they can retain female organs.

SHORT BUT SAD STORY: The Scorpion And The Turtle

O nce upon a time, the scorpion wanted to cross the river. It noticed a turtle on the rock and begged the turtle to ferry it across the river where it could find some succulent green vegetation. The turtle asked, "How can i be sure you will not sting my neck?" "Don't be silly," the scorpion shouted back, "If i did that, we would both drown." Struggling to make it to the riverbank and gasping, the turtle with a look of betrayal asked the scorpion, "Why did you do this to me?" Jumping off from the turtle's back to safety on the land, he replied, "I thought you might dive under the water and drown me." What did you learn guys? I learnt that people find it very hard to trust others.
