Congrats to Toke Makinwa As YouTube Approves Her Vlogging Channel (PHOTOS)

Popular On-Air-personality and YouTube Vlogger has been rewarded for her consistent efforts and Certified by YouTube In a very rare move.

Considering the fact that very Few YouTube channels are certified in Nigeria makes this a Huge feat for her.

She took to her Instagram account to celebrate the honour bestowed on her by YouTube naming her as one the very first Vloggers in Nigeria.

She captioned the photos,
“Mama I’m a YouTube Star…. So much to be thankful for, YouTube is 10 and tonight I was celebrated at the “Evening with YouTube” event.

‘I feel really blessed, way up! God has brought so many of you into my life via my Vlog and it feels really good to be one of the very first Vloggers in Nigeria.

Don’t let anyone kill your dream, first they will laugh and at some point they will copy.

I got to talk about my channel and share my growth on YouTube as a content provider.’

‘Thanks to everyone who has ever watched, subscribed or liked any one of my videos, for the family I have built thru this ministry I say thank you God and thank you too. Yes, You. I think we should take TokeMomentsontheroad,’”

She just got through an Emotional Breakup with her Husband, Maje Ayida who allegedly impregnated another woman outside their marriage.

Toke is holding her own from the look of things and going about business as usual.

*Ice Prince Zamani Ice Prince may have learnt one or two lessons from having a child outside wedlock as the young man, perhaps from experience, advised students of the University of Lagos against having pre-marital sex. At the MTV Base Suga Tour where the singer was one of the artistes that performed, Ice Prince thrilled the students and other guests with hits from his albums, making them dance and dance as they sang along with him. Amid the fun, some of the students inflated condoms and turned them into balloons and started tossing them around the auditorium. Zambia shuts schools over typhoid outbreak

Thirty schools in the Zambian capital Lusaka have been closed due to unsanitary conditions following an outbreak of typhoid in the city, the Times of Zambia reported on Thursday. Public Relations Manager for Lusaka City Council, Mulunda Habenzu, said the schools, including both public and privately-run ones, are in Kanyama, a densely-populated shanty town, west of the city, where the water-borne disease has broken out. So far, a 11-year-old girl in one of the schools has died of suspected typhoid while two others have been tested positive for the disease, the official said. The health ministry claims it has scaled up measures to bar the disease from spreading to other parts of the city. Deputy Minister of Health, Chitalu Chilufya, said 36 cases were recorded in Kanyama but noted that the situation has been brought under control. “There has been no escalation in cases of typhoid from the initial 36 that we are talking about in the township and we will not relent in the quest t...
