#AWOL: Ibinabo goes MIA??

Ibinabo
*Ibinabo

It is as if the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Ibinabo Fiberesima, has gone missing in action, especially after her preferred presidential candidate and former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, lost out in the election.

Of course, everybody knew Ibinabo was not found missing in Jonathan’s campaign train. The eloquent lady was always on hand, alongside most of her colleagues, climbing each campaign podium and explaining why the former president, whom she claimed had done so much for the entertainment industry, should be voted for.

It is no longer news that this heart desire of hers was quashed as Jonathan eventually lost the election. And since then, nothing has been heard from her camp.

In fact, not just a few have wondered where the lady could be and what is happening to her.

Some rumour mongers went to town with the gist that the babe could not stomach how the election went the other way and as such, she had to take off.

But while chatting with Saturday Beats on Blackberry Messenger, IB, as she is also fondly called, said she was in the UK for a course.

“I just rounded off a course in directing in the UK. I intend to start my Masters in Audio Visual Management soon. That is why I am in the UK. Make ‘bad belle’ people leave me alone o,” she said.
