Buhari in silent celebration as he turns 73 today

President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday clocked 73.
No special programme was earmarked to celebrate the day.

However, some presidential aides paid him surprise visit to the President in his official residence inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja shortly before he left for the venue of the 40th summit of the Economic Community of West African States which started in Abuja on Wednesday.
The presidential aides presented Buhari with a giant birthday card that has the seal of the President and his portrait on the cover.
The inscription, “Happy Birthday” was boldly written on the card.
Among the presidential aides who presented the card were the Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari; Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina; Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu; and the Permanent Secretary, State House, Jalal Arabi among others.
