A nurse has been arrested for sexually assaulting a new born baby in California.
The 52-year-old nurse was arrested, charged and convicted of sexually assaulting a newborn baby after the FBI reviewed a video evidence.
The man identified as Michael William Lutts adopted the two-month-old baby boy in San Diego, Californa and started abusing the child from the day he was granted custody, investigations revealed.
Lutts, who was a pediatric nurse, sexually assaulted the baby and masturbated. He recorded the acts on his phone and kept several photos of the bizarre crime.
His phone was seized by Police and the photos and other incriminating evidence was found.
Its unclear who tipped off the police but Lutts was found guilty of the charges and was sentenced to 80 years in prison.
The baby has since been removed from his care and has been placed in protective custody. Police are also investigating the adoption process.
