Ehen: Paris Saint-Germain owner denies Ronaldo talks with Real Madrid

Paris Saint-Germain owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi has hinted at his side's interest in signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.

After the French champions were beaten 1-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu in the Champions League, Al-Khelaifi responded to reports of their pursuit of the Portuguese by insisting that they "respect" his contract with the Spanish club.
Though denying that PSG have had any contact with Madrid over a deal for the 30-year-old forward, he admitted that he would say the same thing had any negotiations in fact taken place.
"Ronaldo has a contract with Real Madrid and we respect that," he toldbeIN Sports, "If there were negotiations they would be in secret. But right now we don't have any negotiations with Ronaldo at all."
Ronaldo did not have his best game for Madrid as they beat the French champions, with first-half substitute Nacho netting the winning goal with only his second touch.
The Portuguese has already scored five goals in the Champions League this season, however, with a further 10 having come for Rafa Benitez's side in La Liga.
