In a strange incident, a parrot was arrested in a Maharashtra village for abusing an elderly woman. A fight broke out between a mother and her son and the parrot named Hariyal was dragged into it.
The parrot, along with its owner Suresh Sakharkar, allegedly used indecent language against Sakharka's mother Jana Bai.
According to reports, the mother and son have some property dispute and they live separately. According to Jana Bai her son trained the parrot for two years to use abusive words against her.
She also claims that her son wants to grab her house.
The Rajura police station has handed the parrot over to the forest department as according to the police, there is no valid reason to keep it in custody.
