El-Rufai ‘s team of commissioners now ready

Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai today administered the oath of office to the 13 newly appointed commissioners in the state.
According to the governor, none of the commissioners lobbied for the job, as their appointment was based on their level of education and capacity.

He told the commissioners that they were not appointed to represent a Local government, religion or an ethnic group,but to serve.
He also warned them against nepotism. .
El-Rufai who promised not to interfere with activities of the commissioners , urged them to represent change, noting ” This is what the people of Kaduna State want.”
He also told them that change should come by action.
” The way you dress and the way you walk to the offices matters. It will show the people that there is change.” El-Rufai stated .
“We will defend you both privately and publicly. If you do wrong, we will tell you what you do wrong. None of us will interfere in your Ministries. If anyone comes to you claiming he or she is from me or from the Deputy governor, please subject that person to full due process,” he added.
