MYSTERIOUS! Two siblings found dead in Ibadan

The corpses of two children were discovered at House Number 13, Cele close, Agbowo, Ibadan, Oyo State on Wednesday.

They were identified as three-year-old Munachi, and Amarachi Ukoha, 16. They were found inside one of the eight rooms of the bungalow.

The mother, Chinoye Ukoha, said her son, Munachi, and her sister, Amarachi were living with her and complained of stomach disorder on Tuesday night.

She said after they complained she gave them some drugs and only to discover their corpses on Wednesday morning.

The case has been reported at Kajorepo Police Station while the corpses had been deposited at Adeoyo General Hospital’s mortuary in Ibadan.

The cause of their death is not yet known but residents around the area said they suspected complications from malnutrition.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Oyo State Police Command, Adekunle Ajisebutu, told our correspondent that the state Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Katsina, would address the press on Thursday on the tragedy.
