Chelsea win Premier League title

Chelsea won the 2014/15 English Premier League title after a 1-0 home victory over Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

The win gave Jose Mourinho’s side an unassailable 16-point lead at the top of the table and saw them crowned champions of England for the first time since 2010.

Eden Hazard’s goal on the stroke of half-time clinched the title when, after his penalty-kick was saved by Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni, the Belgian playmaker headed in the rebound.
