There are indications that Bayelsa State-born singer, Ekperigha Benita Bokizibe, a.k.a Bookiestar, is getting ready to say “I do” to his long standing Nigerian-based American lover and manager, Jerome Stanford.
Sources close to the singer said the lovebirds who started dating last year announced their wedding which comes up next weekend in Lagos. It was also gathered that Bookiestar’s would-be-hubby is a music producer and was the brain behind the talented singer’s hit single, “Promise and Fail.”
Meanwhile, it’s becoming a tradition in Nigeria for female singers to marry their managers. Mavin Records first lady and MTN brand ambassador, Tiwa Savage who’s heavily pregnant now blazes the trail.
