KUST FRESH STUDENTS SCREENING AND REGISTRATION DETAILS- 2015/2016


This is to inform all the candidates
offered provisional admission into the Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil undergraduate programmes for the 2015/2016 academic session that the authorities of the university have announced that the Central Screening and Registration exercise will commence from Monday, 29th February to Friday, 11th March, 2016 at the University premises.
Candidates should come along with original copies of their credentials such as:
1. 2015 UTME Result Slip/Direct Entry Slip
2. SSCE O’Level Result(s)
3. A Level Qualification (Direct Entry only)
4. Primary School Certificate
5. State Indigene Certificate
6. Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
7. Letter of Reference from Reputable Person in the Society, etc
The Screening will commence from 9:00am each day.
Candidates are advised to strictly adhere to the above dates for the registration exercise.

Alleged N108bn fraud: EFCC confiscates Governor Akpabio’s wife’s school

A school allegedly belonging to Unoma Akpabio, the wife of the immediate past governor of Akwa Ibom State, Godswill Akpabio, has been seized by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. It was learnt that the seizure was part of investigations into the former governor who has been accused of alleged N108bn fraud during his tenure from 2007 to 2015. One of our correspondents who visited the school, St. John Paul II School, in Shelter Afrique, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, observed that the school had been marked “under investigation by EFCC.” It was learnt that the EFCC resorted to marking the school instead of shutting it so that innocent parents and students who had paid school fees would not be adversely affected.
