Wande Coal Says ‘God, Not Don Jazzy Made Me’

Black Diamond Entertainment boss and lead act, Wande Coal on Thursday spoke about his journey to success during a press session in Lagos, saying God and not former label executive/producer, Don Jazzy ‘made’ him.

WC, as he often calls himself, came into mainstream music when he joined the now defunct Mo’Hits label, under which he released his debut album, From Mushin To Mo’Hits.
When a disagreement between label executives, Don Jazzy and D’Banj led to the end of the label, Wande Coal joined Mavin Records, alongside Dr. Sid, Tiwa Savage and D’Prince, under the leadership of Don Jazzy.
However, Wande Coal quit the label in 2013.
However, during the interview, Wande Coal was quick to give kudos to his former boss, revealing that he misses him.
Wande Coal is getting set to release his first full body of work since leaving Mavin Records. The album is titled WANTED.
