‘Oritse Femi has nothing to do with his ex-manager’s misfortune’

Femi

The romance between Oritse Femi and his former manager, Danku, ended on a sour note. Although the erstwhile manager contributed tremendously to the artiste’s career and even facilitated the ownership of a SUV for the artiste, their relationship came to an end when Oritse Femi felt his last album was not properly handled.

Shortly after their split, it was reported that his ex-manager fell ill and was rushed to a psychiatric hospital in Abeokuta. This made people to point fingers at the Double Wahala crooner.

However, a source in the singer’s camp who pleaded anonymity told Saturday Beats that the singer has nothing to do with his former manager’s ill fortune. He said that it was coincidental that he fell ill after they parted ways.

“The two of them are no more working together as business partners and it is official. They had since parted way after Oritse Femi released his last album. That was before Danku became ill. I think what happened between them was that Oritse Femi was not happy with the way his album was handled. It is only coincidental that he had the problems after they split but Oritse Femi has nothing to do with his problems. The truth is that he is better now and he has since been discharged from the hospital. He is already at home and his wife is taking care of him but he does not want to address the press now,” the source said.
