Man Brutally Beats Up His Wife, For Posting Too Many Selfies On Instagram



A jealous husband was arrested for beating his wife over Instagram photos.

The man of California, savagely beat his wife because she kept posting selfies to Instagram, police said.

37-year-old Julio Benitiez choked and punched his partner at their home in Fresno on Wednesday afternoon.

His wife had wounds on her eyes, arms, legs and neck. In anger, Julio Benitiez also threatened to kill his wife with whom he has 3 children.

The woman, who has not been identified, fled from her home. She was able to escape with their 5 and 7-year-old children and called police for help.

She left behind a 2-year-old child, but when police arrived at the home, neither Benitiez or the young child were there.

Police launched a manhunt for the suspect. He was found with the child, who was not injured, several hours later.

Benitiez was arrested and charged with domestic violence and criminal threats.

Officers allegedly found an air gun at home and determined that Benitiez was under the influence of a stimulant, Fresno Police Department Sgt. Ray Villalvazo said.
